    This company is a scam, AVOID THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL BE VICTIMISED. I rented a property from the company 2 years ago, everything was broken in the flat even the oven. I called kindly and frankly was given an abusive and patronising response from the seemly (7pm) drunk owner, who despite his inability, did not fix anything for 3 months and needless to say they kept me in the sham contract as i had no choice and the owner had shown the extend of his disgusting behavior when it was too late. I have shared stories with other students, who have exactly the same issues with this man and his team. The owner Tony McNichol is possibly one of the most vile, disgusting, racist, moneygrabbing and heartless humans I´ve ever had to deal with, who actually owns and part owns a number of the properties, despite the legal implications. He laughs at peoples misfortune with such bravado that I was present at a signing in which he was actually making fun and insulting of a coursemate of mine who had called the previous night after a kitchen (of which they had to pay in full of course, with no services provided) had flooded. I did not get my deposit back, despite the house being in a better shape than before. This cartoon villain will try to be civil when you sign your contract then will become his cruel normal self the next day. Mr McNichol is well known in York by locals for being a scammer. Just semi legal robbery from a widely known racist and greedy landlord, of which I have heard his vile comments myself. Avoid this company, you WILL regret it. Please if you have similar problems please report to us at European Law Students' Association (ELSA) who have already filed a number of complaints about the owner and need more reports - Helga (ELSA)

    Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!!. The most terrible letting agency I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with.

    I've dealt with a few letting agencies in York over the years and found that 2let have given me the best experience to date. Super helpful staff and compared to the other agencies, cheaper fees - which always helps! Would recommend to anyone looking to rent in the area.
